A CLOSER LOOK AT THE CONSULTATION

1. Outside environment:

Upon my arrival I will analyze your outside environment and assess the quality and flow of chi by observing:

Your neighborhood, community or town
Land forms near you
Landscaping
Your entrance and facing of your building
Placement in your outside environment
Negative effects from utility poles or other electro-magnetic or other sources

2. Compass reading:

After determining the facing side of the building, I will take a compass reading to determine the direction and nature of your building.

3. Client interview:

We will discuss issues, concerns, and aspirations you would like to address
You will show me around the property
I will ask you about the history of the house or office

4. Feng Shui assessment:

After our interview, I will take up to an hour to assess your environment. You will not need to accompany me during this time. I will be determining the chi level and flow in all rooms while assessing the following issues and others that may be present:

Corners possible to activate to enhance areas of your life such as
health, wealth, or relationships
Chi issues: flow, cutting chi, leaking chi, low, stuck, or negative chi,
good chi to enhance, fresh air
Decor
Placement of furniture & objects
Architecture and placement of features of the building,
including extensions, additions, missing areas
Commanding position: stove, beds, desks, rooms, offices
Symbology, shapes, color
Other

After this assessment, I will give you recommendations for remedies and enhancements. The goal of a remedy is to achieve perfect balance and the highest possible chi in an environment. A remedy is an element used to balance energies in a space, and to suppress & neutralize negative energies. An enhancement strengthens positive chi that already exists.

5. Construction and interpretation of Eight Mansions and Flying Stars charts

These charts map the energies in the building. Because there are many levels to these interpretations, a more detailed analysis will be contained in your written report, which will include identifying your best directions for sleeping and working in the building, and other information.

6. Dowsing for geopathic stress and EMFs (Electro-Magnetic Fields):

See
Working with Energies

Geopathic stress: A large body of research shows that disease can develop when one’s bed is located over a crossing of the earth’s energetic grid lines, underground water streams, faults, or other negative influences underground. At present most of these spots can be detected only by dowsing. Sometimes the solution is as simple as moving the bed a few feet. Remedies are available for less simple situations.

EMFs (Electro-Magnetic Fields): Studies and research have demonstrated the health hazards of excessive exposure to EMFs. I will scan for these with a meter and by dowsing. See
Working with Energies for common sources of EMFs. Remedies are available.

7. Summation with client and Recommendations

At the conclusion of your consultation, we will meet and go over my findings and recommendations. I will suggest resources for remedies and a time-line for you to do the initial, most important remedies.

8. Written Report

Written Materials will include my major recommendations. Also included will be a copy of my book, Auspicious Paths, an Introduction to the Essence of Feng Shui, giving you all the background you need to understand and implement your remedies, including a section on geopathic stress and EMF’s, along with many decorating ideas.”

9. Time line and follow-up:

In order for your Feng Shui consultation to be effective, you must do the remedies in a timely manner. We’ll discuss what will work for you in this regard, and agree on a time line for you to do certain remedies. Feng Shui is an ongoing process, and often it is appropriate to do the remedies in steps. I will check on your progress at our follow-up.
